This little Mountain Chickadee hopped on a tree next to the eating grounds, eyeing the diners as he waited for something to fall.
This is at the Ski Resort Sipapu when my sis and I went skiing for the first time. We had been to this place in our younger childhood, but in the summer, and this place is beautiful year round. It sits in the Southern Rocky Mountains of New Mexico, the Pecos Wilderness and Sangre De Cristos range blending right here. I sucked for my first ski and biffed it too many times, watching little three foot tall kids zooming past me on the bunny slope and steeper slopes. Bleh. I'm better now, but...let's just say I always turn into a chicken when winter comes around after that first trip.
